Martin organised a trip to the Altenberger Dom, one of the most important Gothic buildings in Germany. Not only did we get a guided tour, but Martin had prepared himself well with historical information about the developments which lead to the building of the Monastery in the valley and Church in the 12th Century. we then took a short walk through the autumn Forrest and to crown it all had waffles and coffee in a rather posh restaurant!!
