Albert Settle was a Masonic Legend in his own time! It is certainly fair to say that he played a major part in building up the Grand Lodge of British Freemasons in Germany to what it is today. We at Lodge Niederrhein are very proud that he was not only a member, but also a founder Member of the Lodge. Unfortunately Albert passed away earlier this year, and we were given his Founder Members Medal and Other Regalia by his family.

Jim Lutton has had the Past Grand Masters regalia mounted and framed along with the Award of Honour presented to him by the United Grand Lodges of Germany for the work he put into his Masonry whilst  he was Grand Master of our Grand Lodge from 1980 to 1983.

I hope that this will be on display during our future meetings.
